Works as promised
This is a simple power supply that works just fine. I will say there are other power/multiple gadget power options so go down to guitarcenter if you want and check them out.

Portable powerful economical. Spring for the POD Pack
I am the Queen of portable and really drooled when I saw that Line 6 had come out with an itty-bitty tone box. After doing some research and scraping up a little extra cash I sprung for the complete POD pack (versus just the POD). I knew I was going to want the AC adapter so it really made sense to just pay the extra bucks and get all the little goodies. I love when things are packaged together and you can get extra stuff. THE ONLY THING MISSING WERE 4 AAA BATTERIES. I felt that the Line 6 folks should have thrown them in even though the AC adapter was included. That would have been good faith. I expected the batteries but they were not there.
I play a Steinberger Synapse SS-2F Electric Guitar Alpine White which in and of itself is about the smallest electric guitar you can buy. I also own the Line 6 PODxt (which has since been replaced) and thought that this little bugger would be a great complement to the larger Pod. They differ tremendously in construction: the Pocket Pod is made of plastic and the Pod XT is made of metal. But for a tiny little tone box the thing is amazing and flexible.
If you decide to purchase this Line 6 item expect fantastic support from the company. I actually had to return my Pod XT and they were fantastic. We worked over the phone to troubleshoot the issue but the thing really needed a workup. I had a fixed Pod very quickly. Line 6 is a great and very cool (musically oriented) company that values your business. I like their products and always keep an eye on the newest stuff.
With the Pocket Pod you will discover a lot of tones (and banks where you can store your own). The beauty of this little gem is that it's uniqueness is what you bring to it by creating and downloading new tones. The unit hooks up via USB to your computer and the POD Pack unit comes with a CD that has the editing software and Jam-along content. Yet ANOTHER reason to spring for the pack versus the POD alone. There is so much value-add that it just makes sense.
You really will be surprised at how small and powerful this little thing is. Line 6 has been on the cutting edge and they prove it once more by introducing a power-packed electronic item with such a small footprint. You have a bunch of pedals and amps in the palm of your hand! Cool.
I love it and I cannot wait to delve deeper into making my POD unique. I thought for a brief moment I would buy this little one and sell my POD XT but I do not think that is the case. Apples and oranges. Still I am going to love the portability of my new Pocket POD.
5 Stars for quality price point company and customer service!

A Revelation Of Sound
The Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler which debuted in 1999 has been a mainstay in my effects lineup since I bought it which was in 2003. This pedal sounds beautiful.
I'm not going to get too much into what this pedal can do other than say it will satisfy all of your delay needs. All of the 16 delay settings sound super clean and they should since it's pure 24-bit.
Despite high praise of this product it still retails for the same price: which is $249. I think this price is way too high considering it has been out for almost 10 years. I bought mine for $235.
What is also great about the DL4 is it can be used as a means to setup you for a two amplifier/stereo setting which is one of the best things you can do for your sound I think.
When my pedal dies or if it ever does (my fingers are crossed right now) I'm going to be replacing it because I can't live without it. I have been playing the guitar for 18 years so I have many years of experience with effects pedals.
I knew this pedal was the one for me when I walked into a Guitar Center with hopes to try it out and see how I liked it. The salesman hooked me up and showed me a few things about it which I still can't remember and he finally talked about the looping function and this was my initial introduction to looping. I played a short melodic chord progression and then I overdubbed and stacked more chords on top of this progression and BAM! There it was the sound I was looking for my entire life!
This experience has been a revelation to me and has sent me on many sonic adventures. If you do not own it go down to your local guitar store and try it out and experience the sounds that have made the DL4 a classic.
